Leadership & Management
- Lead overall project management motivating the project team partners and stakeholders towards a shared vision.
- Guide the project set-up including finalising work plans budgets and operational tools.
- Supervise implementation ensure quality control and manage project reporting to SNV and EuropeAid.
- Line manage and guide project staff and consultants.
Strategic & Technical Guidance
- Provide technical leadership on ESG adoption strategies in the coffee sector.
- Ensure integration of gender equality social inclusion and climate-smart approaches.
- Support development and use of the ESG scorecard resource hub and citizen-generated data initiatives.
Partnerships and Consortium Management & Accountability
- Build strong relationship with provincial authorities and lead as government liaison for the project approval and delivery (lead on project document development consultation and approval with local government stakeholders).
- Partner/consortium management and accountability ensuring full project delivery in line with project targets.
- Build and manage strong partnerships with MSMEs business associations cooperatives civil society and provincial/national authorities.
- Facilitate multi-stakeholder dialogue platforms ensuring inclusive participation.
- Organise matchmaking between MSMEs/cooperatives and investors and support ESG leadership recognition.
Financial & Administrative Oversight
- Ensure sound financial management budget monitoring and compliance with donor and SNV requirements.
- Oversee contracts procurement and coordination with MSD and other partners.
Monitoring Reporting & Learning
- Conduct regular monitoring visits and ensure timely achievement of milestones.
- Lead knowledge management communications and dissemination of lessons learned.
- Prepare and submit high-quality reports to donor and SNV management.
- Ensure adherence to SNV minimum MEL standards including reporting on Global Harmonized Indicators leading pause and reflect exercises and performance tracking.
- Perform other duties as assigned by line manager.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree (or equivalent) in development studies business management agriculture environmental sciences or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of project management experience in development cooperation with a proven track record in ESG sustainable business or responsible value chains.
- Experience working with MSMEs cooperatives and civil society organizations in Vietnam and/or Southeast Asia.
- Strong financial management skills and familiarity with donor compliance (EuropeAid preferred).
- Experience leading and managing teams including line management of (remote) staff and consultants
- Demonstrated ability to foster partnerships across public private and civil society stakeholders.
- Strong networking facilitation and negotiation skills.
Preferred
- Previous experience in the coffee or agri-food sector.
- Good understanding of market systems development programming and value chain development
- Experience with diversity equity and inclusion particularly in establishing inclusive business modalities related to gender and ethnic minorities preferred
- Previous experience engaging business associations and other business support agencies
- Understanding of environmental and social safeguards e.g Environmental and Social Safeguard Assessments plans and systems
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Vietnamese required.
- Willingness to travel regularly to field locations

Contract Duration: three-year contract renewable based on performance and funding availability.
