Job Summary

Overview

As an Account Manager at SBS you will be a quota-carrying individual contributor responsible for managing a portfolio of existing banking clients in the French market. Your mission is to strengthen long-term relationships ensure client satisfaction and drive revenue growth through upselling cross-selling and strategic account development.

You will act as a trusted advisor to your clients aligning their business objectives with SBSs suite of solutionsincluding Core Banking Digital Engagement Digital Lending Regulatory Reporting Payments (e.g. Wero) Open Banking and AI-powered innovations. This role requires a consultative mindset strong commercial acumen and a passion for helping clients succeed in their digital transformation journey.

Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management & Growth

  • Own the end-to-end commercial relationship for a defined set of existing clients
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive client retention and revenue expansion
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities aligned with client needs and SBS offerings
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for operational and executive-level stakeholders
  • Lead client meetings QBRs and solution reviews to ensure satisfaction and uncover new needs

Sales Execution & Forecasting

  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Collaborate with pre-sales product and delivery teams to craft tailored proposals and demos
  • Lead or support responses to RFx and contract renewals
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and account activity in CRM tools (Salesforce)

Strategic Collaboration & Market Insight

  • Work closely with marketing and product teams to align go-to-market strategies with client feedback
  • Monitor market trends regulatory shifts and competitor activity to inform account strategy
  • Represent SBS at client events and industry forums to reinforce brand presence and thought leadership

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in enterprise software account management or B2B sales
  • Proven success in managing and growing accounts ideally in banking or fintech
  • Strong understanding of digital banking SaaS models and financial services technologies
  • Fluent in French and proficient in English
  • Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills
