Position Objective
The Kidder Creek (KC) Program Administrator will coordinate logistics and schedules to facilitate smooth operations of all programs at Kidder Creek. Provide administrative support related to all camp operations to the Kidder Creek Leadership. He or she is responsible to model a genuine lifestyle of Christian discipleship nurturing spiritual growth of campers through program activities and curriculum.
General Qualifications
The Kidder Creek (KC) Program Administrator is a Ministerial position. Ministerial staff render their work stewardship relationships and behavior as evidence of being followers of Jesus Christ while embracing and affirming Mount Hermon Association Inc.s (MHA) mission vision and beliefs. They are responsible for defining cultivating and leading MHAs Christian community conference programs and retreats.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Plan implement and carry out coordination of all logistics schedules and program for Kidder Creek and communicating responsibilities and needs to all staff. Liaison to staff leads and directors regarding needs and requirements of scheduling transportation staffing and service needs.
- Lead administrative support to supervisor regarding camp operations staff training schedules and meetings.
- Administrative support and assistance for all opening and closing day operations.
- Attend all staff meetings and events.
- Share in the responsibilities of keeping camp areas including cabins living areas workspaces and supplies clean and orderly.
- Be a part of Staff Care and discipleship as assigned.
- Oversee Snack Shack and Camp Store opening and closing as well as ordering stocking and supervision.
- Actively participate in and contribute to the broader program.
- Actively engage and help build the summer staff community with your attitude words and actions.
- Ensure smooth execution of the program specifically by being on time prepared and willing to assist with immediate and/or unforeseen needs.
- Cross train on recreation and adventure activities to be able to jump in to program as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisors.

Qualifications
Education/Certifications/Licenses:
- College graduate preferred.
- Must be CPR/First Aid certified prior to arriving at camp.
Work Experience
- Previous camp experience required.
- Previous Kidder Creek experience preferred.
- Prior experience working in a demanding administrative capacity preferred.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Ability to articulate the gospel of Jesus Christ as communicated in Scripture.
- Ability to demonstrate a personal committed and thought-through faith in Christ.
- Strong strategic administrative organizational and computer skills.
- Takes initiative with attention to detail and follow-through creative flexible and able to adjust to challenges of the program.
- Able to engage in a variety of outdoor activities.
Physical Demands
The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold wet/humid and dry/arid conditions. Requires sitting standing squatting stooping twisting and hiking. |
Additional Requirements/Skills
- Adherence to company dress code and professional standards for personal grooming and appearance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel or equivalent.
