This role will primarily support TaxAct as the organization helps everyday Americans file their taxes. We seek to build a team of experts in tax and technology who are customer advocates and have the mindset to reimagine the services our customers receive.
Position Summary
The Seasonal Recruiter will manage the full-cycle recruiting process including sourcing phone screening interview coordination preparing materials offer management onboarding communication and new-hire orientation. This role also tracks recruiting metrics and serves as the liaison between candidates and management. The Recruiter works closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager and the Director of Talent Acquisition to ensure consistent processes across the organization.
Essential Job Functions
Partner with internal clients to understand staffing needs
Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent
Screen resumes and conduct initial phone screens
Coordinate scheduling of interviews with hiring managers and team members
Prepare interview materials and debriefs
Extend offers of employment
Negotiate salary and benefits
Communicate with new hires prior to start date
Orient new employees on their first day
Track metrics related to the recruiting function
Qualifications
Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred
2 years of experience in human resources or related field
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint SharePoint)
Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) required
Knowledge of HRIS systems preferred
Must Have
High-volume recruiting experience proven track record managing large pipelines and fast-paced hiring needs
Self-starter / Go-getter attitude proactive organized and self-sufficient
Ability to schedule at least 20 interviews per week for Tax Experts during peak season
Strong MS Excel skills comfortable with spreadsheets basic formulas reporting and tracking high-volume activity
