Job Summary
Job Title: Physical Therapist
Location: Chatham MA 02633
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 58 (7:30 AM4:00 PM 8:00 AM4:30 PM or 8:30 AM5:00 PM)
Weekly Gross Pay: $2641
Job Description
The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients developing individualized treatment plans and providing high-quality therapeutic interventions to support functional recovery.
Responsibilities
Evaluate new patients and establish objective measurable treatment goals based on functional outcomes.
Develop and implement appropriate therapy programs and document all treatment activities.
Perform diagnostic tests of muscle nerve joint and functional ability to determine levels of impairment and potential for improvement.
Administer appropriate treatment modalities and update treatment plans based on patient progress.
Provide clear analytical documentation of patient care education and interdisciplinary communication.
Effectively communicate with physicians and allied health professionals regarding patient status treatment needs and discharge planning.
Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home programs.
Assist with onboarding and training new personnel as requested.
Provide guidance to Physical Therapist Assistants Aides and students.
Adhere to department policies safety protocols quality standards and infection control procedures.
Attend required meetings and participate in professional development activities.
Maintain daily statistical records including patient activity and charges.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Education
Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
Required Certifications & Licensure
BLS AHA
Licensed Physical Therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
