Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Head of Ad Operations to lead scale and optimize the entire programmatic campaign lifecycle. This is a strategic leadership role requiring deep DSP expertise hands-on operational excellence and the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills a process-optimization mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally with Product Sales Engineering and Account Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Ad Operations department including hiring training mentoring and performance oversight.
- Oversee complete campaign execution across planning trafficking QA pacing optimization and reporting.
- Develop and refine operational workflows documentation tools and automation frameworks.
- Serve as the organizations subject-matter expert on the DSP platformguiding best practices and performance strategy.
- Partner with Sales and Account Management on forecasting inventory planning and campaign strategy.
- Troubleshoot delivery challenges attribution inconsistencies pixel errors and creative issues.
- Build advanced reporting structures and deliver actionable insights for internal teams and clients.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on feature testing platform enhancements and operational requirements.
- Monitor marketplace trends supply quality fraud risks and industry developments in programmatic advertising.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy brand safety and industry regulations.
Requirements
- 3 years in a senior Ad Operations role within a DSP agency trading desk or ad tech environment.
- Deep knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem including RTB SSPs exchanges targeting pixels tracking attribution and optimization.
- Proven ability to execute and scale high-performing programmatic campaigns.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities for delivery issues data discrepancies and tracking challenges.
- Experience with leading ad tech tools analytics platforms and measurement partners.
- Leadership experience guiding or managing Ad Ops teams.
- Highly analytical detail-oriented and proficient with Excel/Sheets and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for cross-functional partners.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced and high-growth environment.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with mobile attribution platforms (AppsFlyer Adjust Kochava etc.)
- Knowledge of CTV performance marketing or user acquisition
