Our Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) products secure over 500000 endpoints globally.

We are seeking a MacOS Engineer to design and develop security-focused macOS client applications specifically the InstaSafe Mac Agent and ZTNA Mac Agent that extend enterprise-grade security and access control to Apple endpoints.

The MacOS Engineer will design develop and maintain system-level macOS applications that integrate with security APIs system extensions and authentication workflows. You will work closely with the Zero Trust platform teams to ensure seamless integration of macOS clients with backend controllers and gateways.

This is a highly technical role requiring expertise in Swift/Objective-C macOS APIs Keychain & security frameworks and low-level system extensions.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Agent Development: Build and maintain InstaSafes macOS security agents that provide endpoint access control authentication and secure communication with the Zero Trust backend.
  

• System Integration: Leverage macOS APIs system extensions and launch daemons to implement advanced security features.
  

• Security Features: Implement secure credential storage using Keychain Services and integrate with enterprise OAuth2-based authentication workflows.
  

• Communication Layer: Develop and consume REST APIs to interact with controllers and gateways.
  

• Performance & Reliability: Optimize agents for reliability security and minimal system footprint.
  

• Cross-Platform Collaboration: Work closely with Windows/Linux/macOS endpoint teams to ensure consistency across clients.
  

• Debugging & Troubleshooting: Use advanced debugging and logging for system-level issues.
  

• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on Apples latest frameworks SDK updates and macOS security enhancements.
  

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
  

• Minimum 35 years hands-on experience in macOS application or system-level development.

• Shell Scripting (Bash/Zsh)
  

• REST APIs & JSON
  

• Experience with macOS System Integrity Protection (SIP) and hardened runtime.
  

• Knowledge of networking concepts (TLS/SSL VPN/ZTNA clients).
  

• Familiarity with OWASP Mobile/Desktop Security best practices.
  

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for macOS apps (Fastlane Jenkins).
