About The Role:

We are looking for Interns to help us create a new generation of innovative products across our Shark & Ninja ranges. These roles cover the design process from proof of concept and technology validation through to mass manufacture. We thrive on designing great products that delight our customers. Working as part of our London Design Office you will bring fresh thinking and inspiration to our creative efforts to deliver credible solutions to populate our product road map and ultimately to the market.

Here are some of the exciting things youll be doing:

Help originate novel concepts and technologies for our next generation of products.

Work with the wider team to define elegant but robust solutions to satisfy the products functional requirements.

Collaborate on design studies (with the wider team) to solve technical or consumer issues found in the development of a product.

Take direction on designs through conception CAD execution prototyping and verification whilst consistently working at pace.

Evaluate and improve designs for cost effectiveness manufacturing improvements increased quality and value to consumers.

Build an understanding & experience of high-volume manufacturing design constraints.

Here are some of the things youll bring:

Undertaking a degree in Product Design Product Design Engineering Industrial Design Mechanical Engineering or similar.

Is passionate about product design

Has had some exposure to a CAD program (ideally SolidWorks or Creo) and or 3D printing/laser cutting.

Identify solve implement and verify technical solutions either autonomously or as part of a team.

Hands-on -building of prototypes experimental testing of some sort either in the workshop or in a science context.

Some experience with Developer kits such as Python Arduino Raspberry Pi is desirable.

Flexible and collaborative -these are key to success at SharkNinja.
Positive attitude with an inquisitive nature.
