Work Schedule:Monday to Thursday
- Mon Wed Thu:7:00 AM 2:00 PM
- Tue:9:00 AM 4:00 PM
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingMedical Assistantfor an exciting Travel or Local job inTavares FL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Room and prepare patients for examination
- Take and record vital signs
- Perform phlebotomy and administer vaccines
- Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
- Support scheduling and front-desk operations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Assist healthcare providers with procedures and patient education
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Assistant experience (excluding externship)
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred
- Occupational health experience is a strong plus
- Proficient in phlebotomy/venipuncture and using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent patient interaction skills
- Current BLS or CPR certification required
Required Skills:
- Front and back office experience
- Phlebotomy and POC testing
- EKG administration
- Patient scheduling and rooming
- Taking and recording vitals
