Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain scalable and efficient web applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Write clean maintainable and reusable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design and optimize database schemas.
- Write efficient SQL queries and manage database migrations.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and optionally GraphQL APIs for seamless integration with front-end and third-party services.
- Ensure proper API documentation and versioning.
- Perform debugging and troubleshooting
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in Ruby on Rails.
- Strong programming skills in Ruby
- Proficiency in JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as ReactJS Angular or is a plus.
- SQL and/or NoSQL data storage solutions experience.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL database design and management.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Familiar with troubleshooting and debugging applications
- Advanced English
