DescriptionThe EHS Specialist is responsible for coordinating and managing Health Safety and Environmental activities across Germany Austria and Switzerland with occasional support to other European regions. The role supports service operations projects and office environments while ensuring compliance with legal corporate and ISO requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate EHS activities across the DACH region and provide occasional support across Europe.
- Implement maintain and audit the EHS management system in line with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Conduct site engineer facility and project audits to ensure compliance with EHS standards.
- Support project teams with EHS guidance during construction and installation activities.
- Ensure compliance with legal and corporate HSE requirements and support external accreditations.
- Lead accident and near-miss investigations reporting and corrective action follow-up.
- Identify hazards conduct risk assessments and manage risk analysis updates.
- Deliver EHS inductions refresher training and support managers in safety training delivery.
- Manage EHS documentation records and environmental data (waste energy emissions hazardous substances).
- Support EHS EMEA leadership with regional communication and initiatives.
Preferred Education:
- SiFa Sicherheitsfachkraft (or local equivalent)
- NEBOSH Certificate (or local equivalent)
Experience:
- 3 years experience in the field
- Construction Electrical UPS Thermal or Generator experience an advantage.
