Job Description
BASIC FUNCTION : The Vice Chancellor of Education and Planning reports to the Chancellor and serves as a key member of the Chancellors Executive Team. This position provides districtwide leadership coordination and oversight for core educational and planning initiatives. The Vice Chancellor works closely with College Presidents Vice Presidents of Instruction Vice Presidents of Student Services Academic Senate Presidents and other district and college leaders to advance institutional goals and student success.
Required Qualifications
The successful candidate must possess for service as an education administrator both of the following as governed by the California Community Colleges Chancellors Office: (a) Possession of a masters degree from an accredited institution; AND (b) At least one year of formal training internship or leadership experience reasonably related to the administrators administrative assignment.
