Job Summary:
A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for providing basic medical attention to patients and assessing their wellbeing as part of a larger medical team. Their duties include checking vital signs recording a patients medical history and assisting patients with hygiene.
LPN Compensation and Benefits:
Pay starting at $30/hr (Compensation is variable and depends on the type of shift/visit day of the week and complexity of care provided.)
Employment is PRN.
Competitive Pay
We offer medical dental and vision benefits through Cigna if you maintain FT hours (32/wk)
we offer 8-12 hr shifts 1 hr nursing visits and 1 hr medication management visits.
LPN Responsibilities:
Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers nurses doctors and family members
Accurately monitor and track and document clients overall health and medical history during every visit
Take and record measurements of blood pressure temperature heart rate etc.
Change bandages wound dressings and catheters among other related healthcare tasks
Administer medications according to the Medication record
Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises
- Provide emotional and psychological support to the client and family members as needed
LPN Requirements:
- 2 years nursing experience preferred
Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
Current LPN license in GA
Access to reliable transportation
Ability to work independently and with directions
Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
Exceptional customer service skills
Compassionate and friendly demeanor
