External Account Manager Northern Ireland
Location: Belfast (Hybrid 3 days customer-facing 1 day office 1 day from home)

Were partnering with a global chemical distributor to find a motivated and results-driven External Account Manager to manage and grow their Northern Ireland portfolio.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of an established base of high-value industrial and manufacturing clients reconnect with dormant accounts and drive new business growth across the region.
What youll be doing:
As the new External Account Manager youll be building on existing relationships while creating new ones. Youll thrive in the sales environment! Your duties will include.
- Manage and develop a defined portfolio of existing accounts achieving sales and EBITDA targets.
- Reconnect with lapsed customers and open new trading accounts.
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers across manufacturing and industrial sectors.
- Negotiate contracts close profitable deals and deliver tailored solutions.
- Monitor competitor activity and identify new opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with internal commercial and supply chain teams to ensure exceptional customer service.
What were looking for:
- Proven B2B sales experience within manufacturing or industrial markets.
- Ideally knowledge of industrial chemicals
- A genuine passion for sales; energetic proactive and results-oriented.
- Confident managing your own territory from the factory floor to the boardroom.
- Strong communicator and relationship builder with a hunter mindset.
- Organised commercially aware and driven to exceed targets.
