Internship Details:

  • Dates: June 1 August 7 2026

  • Schedule: Full-time40 hours/week (MondayFriday)

  • Pay:$14/hour

Qualifications:

  • Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college/university or May 2026 graduate

  • Passionate about our mission

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Internship Focus:

The Las Vegas field office for ALSAC/St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital isseeking a motivated summer intern toassistwith our experiential fundraisinginitiatives. This role will focus on supporting twomajor projects: Viva St. Judeandthe Las Vegas St. Jude Walkwhile also working on an overall social media calendarfor the Las Vegas social channels.Viva St. Judeis a multi-day fundraising event where the intern willassiststaff in leading a volunteer committee securing auction items and creating impactful mission moments to help achieve revenue goals.The St. Jude Walkis a community-based peer-to-peer fundraising event. The intern will support staff in recruiting and coaching participants sponsors and volunteers to ensure successful engagement and fundraising outcomes.Minority and diverse candidates particularly Spanish bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Support planning and execution of fundraising events.

  • Assistin meeting revenue goals through sponsorships and donations.

  • Help secure auction items and enhance event experiences.

  • Recruit and coordinatelogistics teams and volunteers for the St. Jude Walk.

  • Develop a social media plan to promote events and share St. Judes mission.

Projects include:

  • Viva St. Jude: Help secure sponsorships donations table sales and auction items. Build a social media plan and engage past supporters. Attend committee meetings andassistlead staff in meeting revenue goals.

  • St. Jude Walk: Recruit participants and volunteers share event updates and support committee efforts to meet fundraising goals.

  • General Tasks: Call donors conduct research write thank-you cardsassistwith eventlogistics and manage supplies.

  • PreferredSkills:Must be comfortable with Zoom Teamsand Microsoft Office products including Word Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to work in a team environment but also work strong independently

  • Ability to be organized and detailed to balance several projects simultaneously

  • Familiar with social media including Facebook and Instagram

  • Comfortable with interacting with adults at different professional levels and engaging with volunteers and committee members

Majors preferred: Marketing Public Relations Business Communications Liberal ArtsPsychology Sociology
