Project Machinist Operator B - 1st shift

Set up andoperatemachines and tools to perform any operation within machine capacity with special fixtures or holding devices if.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Comply with all ofTurboFabsEnvironmental Health and Safety Programs Regulations and Guidelines.

Must keep all areas clean andorderly;andcomply withTurboFabshousekeeping procedures.

Mustmaintaina safe working environment.

Mustmeet production requirements.

Machine components require tolerance and meet quality standards.

Must apply continuous improvement techniques.

Insureequipment is functioning properly.

Keep andmaintainrecords and documents as.

Train less experienced machinists as.

Required Qualifications:

This position is for a fully competent and qualified Machinist and Machine Operators

Must have at least 1 yearof experience as a machinist or machine operator andrequiresminimal supervision to perform the job.

Knowledge of setting up and running theproductionmachining equipment.

Capable ofreading and interpreting drawings.

Understanding and skilled in the use of precision measuring equipment and gauges to inspectmachinedparts.

Must have skills knowledge in operating manual and CNC machining equipment.

Able to work 1st shift as assigned

Mustexhibitthe skills and willingness to perform assigned tasks in a fully competent manner.

Good communicationskillsbothverbal and written.

Top Candidates:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

3 or more years of experience as a machinist or machine operator

Basic computer skills preferred

Skillsofsetting up and running the production machining equipment.

Ability to writechangeand update programs.

Skills and knowledge inoperatingHorizontal Boring Machine as well asKurakiCNC Machines.

Competency to read/write G code as well asFeatureCAM.

Summary Pay Range:

$25.48 - $38.22

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market location job related knowledge skills individual performance and experience.
