Thermacell is home to 125 full-time employees across three U.S. hubs Bedford MA (Corporate Headquarters) Buford GA (Manufacturing & Distribution) and Hampton FL (Science & Research Center) and is expanding its footprint in the UK & Europe.


ROLE PURPOSE:

Thermacell is currently seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Associate. Warehouse Associates are responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming orders picking and filling orders from stock or packing and shipping orders. This role will report to the Warehouse Floor Supervisor.


STATUS: Non-Exempt

WORKING HOURS: 7:00 am 3:30 pm (extended hours during busy season)

WORK LOCATION: 3157 Buford Highway Buford GA 30518

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Uses handheld RF Scanners & Warehouse Management System to work both independently & as a team to pick pack prepare order shipment & system process order to shipped status.
  • Including scanning correctly from bin locations & picking orders accurately & with quality.
  • Fills customers orders according to specifications.
  • Knows what labels need to be applied to shipments based on item specifications.
  • Uses computer & shipment software to generate customer specific shipping labels and/or BOLs (UPS ground etc.)
  • Wraps/packs orders for shipping in appropriate shipping boxes.
  • Keeps up with hourly board results & runs end of day process for Direct to Consumer & Project Area(s)
  • For projects understands & follows Bill of Materials for builds
  • Applies correct labels to displays & follows product map for display builds
  • Palletizes displays based on specifications
  • Offloads containers & stacks / arranges product based on the pallet configurations
  • Checks inbound packing slips to ensure quantities expected match
  • Loads and unloads trucks.
  • Moves received product via RF scan gun & responsible for ensuring quantity of product is restocked to full in levels at the end of each shift.
  • For retail B2B orders uses multiple customer portals to process shipments.
  • Can generate pick tickets & shipping labels for small parcel orders.
  • Preps & organizes pick tickets.
  • Meets customer requirements to ensure 100% compliance.
  • Can generate & knows how to apply UCC or pallet labels according to customer specs.
  • Sends ASNs & processes shipments in internal system in accordance with each customers requirements.
  • Verifies accuracy of outgoing & incoming shipments/orders.
  • Demonstrates and promotes quality values throughout the department.
  • Closely adheres to all operating procedures.
  • Meets company productivity and quality standards.
  • Maintains clean work area to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts.
  • Assists with production assembly operations
  • Cross-train and provide support in manufacturing operations during periods of low activity including operating production equipment and performing assembly tasks to maintain workflow efficiency and product quality.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

COMPENSATION

Compensation for this position will include a competitive base salary and a Quarterly and Annual Target Bonus program-details proved separately.

Paid time off for this position will consist of accrued vacation at a competitive level along with 11 Holidays and a day off for your Birthday! 40 hours of wellness time is also available on your first day of employment. Additionally a company shutdown period is offered for one week between Christmas and New Years Day where the majority of business operations pause and employees are encouraged to rest and recover together. Critical functions may require limited coverage to ensure business continuity.

Requirements

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Ability to manage and deliver multiple simultaneous priorities
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • 0-1 year warehousing or similar experience preferred
  • Forklift Operator Experience Highly Preferred in addition to obtaining a License
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand/walk for 8 to 10 hours
  • Ability to read and comprehend customers orders bills of lading etc.
  • Basic math skills
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed. Overtime may be prior to and/or after scheduled work hours (including weekends)
  • Drivers License required
