Job Summary
Newton Village a Cassia community is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)to join our team. We are offering a $5000 bonus!
As aLicensed Practical NurseatNewton youll deliver compassionate high-quality care to residents administer medications and work closely with a dedicated team to ensure the best possible outcomes. Our ideal candidate is skilled dependable and thrives in a collaborative environment with a strong commitment to enriching the lives of older adults.
Position Type:Part-Time (opportunity to pick up additional hours if desired)
Shifts Available:10:00pm to 6:00am
Bonus: $5000
Location:110 N 5th Ave W Newton IA 50208
Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities:
- Displaya courteous attitude and respect for all residents families and staff.
- Administermedications and/or treatmentin accordance with physicians orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
- Managemedications supplies and equipment including ordering receiving storing and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Documentresident care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
- NotifyClinical Manager attending physicians and family members of significant changes in a residents condition and take follow-up action as necessary.
- Performs additional duties as required.
- Must have a current Iowa LPN license and be in good standing.
- CPR certification or willing to obtain.
- Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
- Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
- Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
