Job Summary

AlphaBEST: Before and After School is where adventure begins!

At AlphaBEST our students are filled with curiosity and wonder! As their Group Leader youll lead them through fun learning activities with plenty of support and training.

Location: David Douglas School District (various sites) 97220

Schedule: No weekends! Monday-Friday;6:30am-10:00am and/or 3:00pm-6:00pm (hours may vary)

As an AlphaBEST Group Leader youll be trained to do the following:

Lead a group of student through exciting adventures in fitness the arts technology and more!
Work collaboratively with peers to ignite childrens sense of wonder.
Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students interests and talents.
Provide a caring family-oriented environment where positive staff child and parent relationships are fostered.

Heres what youll need:

Must have a high school diploma or GED
18 years old
240 documented hours of experience working with children
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by OR childcare licensing regulations
Minimum 1 year experience working with school aged children in a group setting preferred.
