Occupational Therapy Coordinator
Location: Varnville SC
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 58 Days 40 Hours/Week
Weekly Gross: $2926
Position Purpose
The Occupational Therapy Coordinator supports students by evaluating functional abilities creating treatment plans and guiding therapy implementation. The coordinator ensures programs meet the developmental and academic needs of each student.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate students cognitive sensory and motor skill levels.
- Create targeted therapy plans.
- Conduct interviews with families/students.
- Determine suitable assessments and interventions.
- Write progress reports and maintain documentation.
- Manage supplies and therapy equipment.
- Protect student information (HIPAA/district).
- Maintain schedules and required checklists.
- Participate in professional development.
- Follow attendance standards and district protocols.
- Carry out other duties from leadership.
Qualifications & Skills
- SC OT licensure and accredited degree.
- 2 years school/pediatric OT experience.
- Strong writing and computer abilities.
- Positive communication and flexibility.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
