Responsibilities
The Security Dispatcher is responsible for receiving and dispatching emergency and non-emergency calls for security services monitoring multiple alarms and utilizing the Public Address (PA) system to make emergency announcements. Accountable for dispatching of appropriate security personnel and outside agencies and providing general clerical assistance.
Schedule:Friday-Monday 10:00am-6:30pm
Qualifications
Necessary skills for this role include:
- Great leadership & decision making skills
- Extreme service focus and willingness to be helpful
- Excellent communication & problem solving skills
- Excellent customer service
Experience and education minimum requirements:
- High school graduate/GED
- One year of clerical experience and six months multi-line telephone operation
Preferred experience:
- 911 dispatch using Computer Aided Dispatch software program CCTV surveillance and/or POST dispatchers course.
