Role Overview We are seeking an experienced IT Shared Services Engineer with 8 12 years of expertise in providing technical support and services across enterprise IT infrastructure and applications. The ideal candidate will be adept at diagnosing and resolving complex issues ensuring operational efficiency and driving cost effective solutions that support business continuity.
Key Accountabilities -
Technical Support & Troubleshooting

Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to IT systems applications and products.

Provide both remote and on site support to internal teams and external stakeholders.

Maintain and update a comprehensive knowledge base of troubleshooting guides and resolutions.

Infrastructure & Application Support
-
Monitor maintain and optimize IT infrastructure performance (servers networks storage cloud).

Support enterprise applications ensuring uptime reliability and seamless integration.
-
Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement upgrades patches and enhancements.

Service Delivery & Efficiency
-
Ensure adherence to SLAs and ITIL best practices in incident problem and change management.
-
Drive automation and process improvements to enhance service delivery and reduce costs.
-
Document processes SOPs and technical workflows for consistency and scalability.

Stakeholder Engagement
-
Act as a trusted advisor to business units ensuring IT services align with organizational needs.

Communicate technical solutions in clear business friendly language.

Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and support staff.
Required Skills & Experience -
8 12 years of progressive experience in IT support infrastructure and shared services.

Strong expertise in Windows/Linux servers networking virtualization and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

Hands on experience with enterprise applications monitoring tools and ticketing systems (ServiceNow Jira etc.).

Solid understanding of ITIL framework and service management practices.

Excellent problem solving documentation and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
