Position Summary:
The Lead Summer Camp Counselor supervises Summer Camp Counselors and facilitates age-appropriate activities in a seasonal day camp setting. Provides a quality day camp experience that is focused on the YMCA core values: honesty respect responsibility and caring. Expected Camp dates are late May until mid-August and is a seasonal position where the employee will voluntarily separate at the conclusion of the season.

Must have visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and the physical ability to respond swiftly in an emergency situation.

Must be able to coordinate a variety of large and small tasks simultaneously
Must be able to handle stress and tension in a positive manner
