Job Summary
Responsible for providing content expertise in Theriogenology contributing to scholarly advancement of the science and incorporating this discipline in the curriculum. Will assume various teaching roles when required to meet curricular demands and as assigned by the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. Will provide support in the training of students in all levels of the DVM curriculum. Will serve as a college wide resource in Theriogenology as well as serve on the college and university standing committees. Position reports to the Dean. Academic activities are supervised by the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. Research activities are supervised by the Associate Dean for Research. Clinical activities are supervised by the Associate Dean for Clinical Services. Professional activities are supervised by the Executive Associate Dean.
Required Qualifications
EDUCATION : An earned Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree and board certification in Veterinary Theriogenology or equivalent degree and advanced training. EXPERIENCE : Candidates with three or more years of experience preferred. However the college is seeking an optimal match between individual qualifications and assessed ability to contribute to the Colleges mission. All qualified candidates will be considered.
