As aTotal Reward Global Compensation Manager you lead the team and have responsibility for the global development implementation and administration of direct compensation programs policies and procedures for DLLs total membership base. For compensation of our most senior management you partner with the relevant experts in our team.
Not only do you design great direct compensation solutions you build support and educate our HR and other stakeholders and engage with external experts to ensure our programs are competitive fair and compliant. You lead a team of experts that strive to operate the best compensations programs in our industry driving attraction retention and engagement of Members that are true fit for DLL.
You will report to the global head of Total Rewards.

Day to day:
- Global Compensation Team: lead a team of 4-5 compensation professionals to operate as a strategic COE. Set them up for success accelerate their development and drive high engagement.
- Compensation Strategy and Design: Develop the overall strategy design and implementation of compensation programs on a global scale. Identify best practices recommend changes and coordinate the design of the companys compensation philosophy and plans. Establish pay grades criteria for raises and compensation structures. Collaborate with HR and talent acquisition teams to attract and retain top talent. Address compensation-related concerns and provide guidance to managers and employees.
- Job Evaluation and Grading: Design DLLs grading structure to align with business needs and in partnership with business and HR leaders. Provide strategic framework governance and tools to utilize job generic profiles and related communication education and implementation capability. Lead job evaluation as appropriate.
- Base pay Management & Benchmarking: Provide a strategic competitive and sustainable framework for base pay management and pay ranges / market pricing as appropriate. Conduct market research to understand industry trends salary benchmarks and competitive compensation practices. Strategically manage survey participation to ensure the organizations compensation remains competitive and aligned with market standards.
- Incentives and Total Rewards: Design and administer performance-based incentive programs sales incentives bonuses and equity compensation. Drive alignment of incentives with business goals and individual performance and regulatory frameworks. Partner with TR colleagues to integrate compensation with other elements of total rewards such as benefits recognition and work-life balance.
- Compensation Reviews: Strategically manage the framework and process of annual allocation of the salary budget as well as off-cycle pay strategies and processes across different functions and regions balancing competitive compensation with financial constraints.
- Data Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to assess the effectiveness of compensation programs. Generate reports and insights for senior leadership and HR teams.
- Communication & education: Drive strategic and tactical communication and education of compensation practices to our stakeholders including compensation changes policies and guidelines.
- Compliance and Legal Considerations: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to compensation. Stay informed about legal changes that impact compensation practices.
- HRIS: Ensure that our compensation architecture policies and processes are embedded in our HRIS and provide ongoing support for continuous improvements.

Essentials:
- Masters degree professional qualification or relevant career experience
- Experience in Total Reward / remuneration function with at least 8-10 years involvement in international Direct Compensation programs ideally in the Financial Services industry
- At least 3 years experience in leading Total Rewards professionals
- Analytical in nature with excellent attention to detail without losing the broader picture
- Preferably a solid understanding of regulatory landscape for financial services
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills ability to independently work with senior stakeholders
- Oracle experience is a plus.
- A culturally sensitive and globally minded team player
- Fluent in English (other languages are a plus!) and experienced in MS Office SkillsExtras
