Outside Sales Representative - Industrial Woodworking & CNC Machinery
Location: Anaheim CA
Position Type: Full-Time Direct Hire
Travel: Daily local and regional travel throughout Southern California
Job Overview
We are looking for a proven hunter Outside Sales Representative with direct experience selling CNC routers edgebanders panel saws or similar capital woodworking/industrial machinery. This is a true outside sales role combining aggressive new business development with growth of an established account base across cabinet shops furniture manufacturers architectural millwork signage and custom fabrication companies.
Responsibilities
- Daily prospecting: cold calls shop walk-ins jobsite visits and networking
- Conduct live machinery demonstrations (Anaheim showroom and customer sites)
- Host lunch-and-learns open houses and on-site trials
- Deliver consultative ROI-based sales presentations and close capital equipment deals
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of new and expansion opportunities
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales quotas
- Keep CRM forecasts and activity records accurate and up-to-date
- Partner with technical service and applications teams for smooth delivery and support
Qualifications
- 5 years of proven B2B outside sales experience in woodworking machinery CNC equipment or related industrial capital equipment (required)
- Strong technical/mechanical aptitude and confidence in complex sales cycles
- Documented success as a hunter: new customer wins quota attainment territory growth
- Currently living in Southern California and able to commute to Anaheim regularly
- Valid drivers license clean driving record and reliable personal vehicle
- Proficient with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
