The Opportunity
- Location: North West England
Were looking for an experienced and passionate Site Director to lead all site operations and business functions. Youll ensure safe efficient and high-quality production that aligns with divisional goals while championing a culture of continuous improvement operational excellence and customer-first thinking.
Key Focus Areas:
- Lead a proactive health & safety culture and deliver on all compliance requirements
- Drive high standards in product quality and food safety
- Improve material and labour efficiency reduce waste and embed lean thinking
- Collaborate closely with engineering to optimise site performance
- Control budgets and deliver cost efficiencies
- Inspire and develop high-performing teams with clear succession planning
- Champion clear communication and cross-functional collaboration to deliver production targets
- Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers to maintain our reputation for service excellence
What Youll Bring:
- Proven leadership in chilled food manufacturing (7-10 years in a senior role)
- Strong grasp of food safety compliance and supply chain dynamics
- Expertise in operational excellence lean methodologies and continuous improvement
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to motivate teams develop talent and foster a high-performance culture
