We are seeking a suitably qualified candidate to join our clients team as aVan Sales Representative. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling products directly to customers from the company-owned van driving sales growth ensuring timely deliveries and building strong customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Delivery: Drive to assigned territories deliver products and generate sales through direct interactions and order-taking.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers by understanding and addressing their needs.
  • Product Promotion: Present and demonstrate products highlighting key features benefits and pricing.
  • Order Management: Take orders process transactions and issue receipts or invoices accurately.
  • Inventory Management: Load and unload products ensure proper handling of goods and maintain accurate stock counts.
  • Route Planning: Plan efficient delivery routes to ensure timely product distribution.
  • Reporting and Feedback: Submit daily/weekly sales reports provide customer insights and monitor competitor activities.


Requirements

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of a high school diploma; a Bachelors degree in Marketing or a related field is an added advantage.
  • Experience: Proven track record in sales preferably in direct sales or van sales within the FMCG industry.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Sales-driven and customer-focused attitude
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
    • Basic mathematical skills for pricing and discounts
    • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
  • Product Knowledge: Familiarity with FMCG products will be an advantage.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Van Maintenance: Ensure the sales van is clean well-maintained and roadworthy.
  • Cash and Stock Control: Manage cash transactions maintain proper records and minimize stock losses.
  • Compliance: Adhere to company policies safety protocols and driving regulations.
