About the Role
As part of our growth we are seeking an experienced Service Manager / Regional Manager to oversee our residential childrens homes across Staffordshire. You will lead Registered Managers drive operational excellence and ensure our high standards of care safeguarding and outcomes remain exceptional.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership supervision and support to Registered Managers.
Ensure services deliver high-quality child-centred care in line with Ofsted and legislative requirements.
Oversee quality assurance audits compliance and service development.
Drive performance improvement plans and team capability.
Lead on recruitment retention training and staffing strategies.
Work closely with senior leadership on strategic planning and service growth.
Manage budgets occupancy referrals and relationships with local authorities.
Participate in the on-call rota and support homes during complex situations.
Requirements
About You
Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification.
Minimum 3 years experience as a Registered Manager.
Strong understanding of safeguarding regulations and childrens care frameworks.
Able to coach inspire and drive high-performing teams.
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel between homes.

Person Specification Experience working with children/young people with EBD and/or LD (desirable). Knowledge of safeguarding child protection and behaviour management. Compassionate resilient and able to remain calm in challenging situations. Flexible to work shifts including evenings weekends and sleep-ins (where applicable). Willingness to work towards Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (if not already held).
