About the Treaty Authority
The Treaty Authority is an independent entity with a mandate to facilitate the formation of treaties between the State of Victoria and First Peoples in Victoria.
The Treaty Authoritys work is grounded in Aboriginal culture lore and law and led collectively by a panel of five Members committed to Aboriginal self-determination and empowerment. It engages with a broad cross-section of stakeholders including the State of Victoria the First Peoples Assembly and Traditional Owners in Victoria.
The objects of the Treaty Authoritys work are to:

Maintain promote and advance the self-determination and empowerment culture and human rights of First Peoples.
About the Role
The Engagement Support Officer provides essential administrative and logistical support to the Communications and Engagement team.
This is an entry-level role ideal for someone passionate about Treaty Aboriginal self-determination and community engagement and eager to build skills in administration communications and project support.
Youll play a key role in helping our team stay connected with community supporting meetings gatherings and conversations that bring people together on the Treaty journey.
This role is a great fit for someone who values relationships learning from others and contributing to work that strengthens our communities.
Working closely with the Community Engagement Manager the role supports the coordination of meetings and events maintains HubSpot (the Treaty Authoritys client relationship management system) prepares materials for engagement activities and assists with a range of administrative and logistical functions.
