This is a long term substitute position to fill in for a Reading Teacher who will be on a leave of absence.
The preferred candidate will possess a K-12 Reading License and Orton Gillingham or Wilson Certification as well as familiarity with other reading programs.
Candidates should also have experience supporting students in need of reading support at the elementary school level.
The duties of the position consist of working with students in need of reading intervention services in grades K-5 in a push in and/or pull out setting; either 1:1 or in small groups. This teacher may also support students in the classroom and work in collaboration with classroom teachers and special educators.
