Job Summary
Are you a motivated and passionate nurse inspired by professional development and nurturing of others An exciting career opportunity as a Student Facilitator - Mental Health (part-time 48 hours / fortnight) awaits your application atPine Rivers Private Hospital.
You will play a key role in the planning and delivery of education and training to students that address the strategic direction of the hospital.
As the ClinicalFacilitator (Mental Health) your responsibilities will include:
- Work in partnership with theHospitalEducator to facilitate student professional experience placements
- Deliver education and support to students across the facility and provide student orientation for each placement
- Maintain an ongoing communication of student/staff expectation and provide learning that meets the needs of students
- Facilitate the opportunity for students to study and learn through observation participation reflection skill development tutorials and seminars.
Essential Criteria:
- Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in an acute mental health setting
- Possesses Certificate in workplace assessment and training or willing to work toward same
- Ability to present learning packages and assess learning outcomes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including written and verbal
- Post-Graduate mental health qualifications desirable
- Demonstrated experience in eLearning platform
- High degree of computer literacy including MS Office
