Job Summary
Under the direction of the Associate Dean for Basic Medical Sciences and Research this position conducts collaborative research through experimental measurements data analysis communication of results through the primary literature and through the collaborative submission of grant proposals. Strong communication skills are required that permit proficient training of students in the laboratory as well as an ability to maintain the research laboratories. This position reports to the Associate Dean for Basic Medical Sciences and Research.
Required Qualifications
1. Education: PhD in Neuroscience 2. Experience: Solid experience in running research laboratory and use of immunohistochemical calcium measurement confocal microscopy molecular and behavioral techniques. 3. Experience: Ten years progressively responsible experience in a related field preferably in an academic or government laboratory setting including experience with research coordination and instrument development.
