Responsibilities
The role of Repair & Refurbishment Engineer / is to actively run the Repair & Refurbishment Center in Penang. This role is highly technical and problem-solving oriented. With good technical skill levels this function will cover 100% of in-house repairs by himself/herself with support from production - external refurbishments will be coordinated and processed by buyers and suppliers.
- Coordination of workload at the Repair & Refurbishment area.
- Inspect incoming goods and Refurbish as per requirements.
- Manage the inventory of returned parts frequently.
- Coordinate the refurbishment parts which needs to be done via production or suppliers.
- Work with Planner to monitor the performance of Refurbishment Center by tracking KPIs.
- Monitor the stock levels of refurbished parts together with BNS Service Coordinator.
Qualifications
Degree In Engineering with Minimum 3 years of hands-on assembly and troubleshooting experience;
Or Diploma In Engineering with Minimum 5 years of hands-on assembly and troubleshooting experience.
Skills & Knowledge Requirements
- Proactive work attitude
- Work independently strong team player detail oriented organized and hands-on
- Basic computer skills
- Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with SAP is a plus
