As a Software Engineering Director of the Compute Infrastructure team at LinkedIn you will play a crucial role in our ongoing efforts to architect our compute infrastructure. Responsibilities:
You will directly contribute to LinkedIns Compute infrastructure strategy.
You will build and operate a platform that allocates hardware resources with necessary physical/logical distribution for fault tolerance and easy maintenance.
You will help up-level and coach a large team of talented developers.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
5 years of software engineering management experience
4 years experience in one of the following areas: data infrastructure search infrastructure or ML platforms
2 years of experience in compute infrastructure
B.A./B.S. degree or higher or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
10 years of experience in managing engineering teams.
5 years of experience building large-scale compute infrastructure or other relevant infrastructure
Experience in leading technical teams and coaching engineers and engineering managers
Demonstrated understanding of operating system fundamentals container technologies and systems knowledge.
Experience with Kubernetes.
Experience with IaaS systems and capacity management.

The pay range for this role is $226000 to $369000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set depth of experience certifications and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
