Job Summary

Purpose

To support the design and delivery of the firms reward strategy and programmes.

Key responsibilities and challenges

  • Act as a centre of expertise and trusted advisor to HR colleagues and the business on reward policy.
  • In conjunction with the Senior Reward Manager develop new reward and benefit programmes and processes to meet business needs and ensure competitiveness in the market.
  • Support the annual compensation review process including analysis of salary survey and benchmark data to inform and update pay strategy.
  • Educate and engage the business on the firms reward agenda to raise the profile of the reward and benefits offering.
  • Manage a portfolio of benefit programmes including supporting the renewal process managing relationships with benefit providers developing engaging employee communications and supporting employees and partners with queries and / or claims in respect of their benefits.
  • Lead ad hoc reward projects from concept to delivery (with support from Senior Reward Manager as required) e.g. introduction of new benefits change of reward strategy.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders e.g. wider HR team business managers payroll and administration teams to work in a collaborative and effective way.
  • Keep up to date with legislation and market developments to ensure that our reward programme is compliant and optimised for success.

  • Previous experience in the same or similar role in an international environment
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Able to establish credibility and build relationships at all levels of seniority
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to present information effectively both orally and in writing
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple responsibilities and projects
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent Advanced Excel Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Credible and proven track record of success within reward / HR
  • Confidence in dealing with challenging clients and ability to influence beyond own sphere of responsibility
  • A real interest in reward innovation and engagement
  • Collaborative enjoys working as part of a team
  • Ability to form a commercial view and exercise common sense
