Your main responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a key resource for projects within the marketing group;
- Participating in the month-end closing process;
- Performing required account reconciliations;
- Assisting in the improvement documentation and implementation of accounting processes and internal controls;
- Contributing to various special projects (various analyses budget preparation etc.);
- Coaching and supervising two specialized clerks.
Qualifications :
To join our team you should have among other things:
- A bachelors degree and/or recognized accounting designation with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience;
- Bilingualism in French and English both spoken and written as you will collaborate with colleagues and clients across Canada;
- Proficiency in the Microsoft suite (advanced Excel formulas VBA Power Query is an asset);
- Experience with internal control concepts is a plus.
