Role overview:
Working on ISO Tank Containers by pressure testing tanks drain and dry out the inside of the tank. Repair and replace tank container valves gaskets and gauges.
Position Responsibilities:
- Pressure test repair and replace valves gaskets and gauges
- Drain tank and insuring tank is dry.
- Operate hoists cranes and precision measuring and testing instruments
- Observe and listen to mechanical devices to diagnose causes of mechanical issues
- Repair and replace defective parts inspect and adjust used parts
- Lubricate and clean parts
- Operate lathe drill press and grinders
- Use hand tools and power tools
Qualifications:
- Candidates will possess a mechanical background
- Possess good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Detailed oriented
- Ability to wear a respirator be comfortable with both heights on top of tanks
- Work in enclosed spaces inside of tanks
