The Role

As a Digital Solutions Consultant with Worley you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

  • Develop and implement data pipelines for ingesting and collecting data from various sources into a centralized data platform.
  • Design implement and maintain a Data Quality Framework aligned with enterprise governance and compliance standards.
  • Define develop and operationalize data quality rules dimensions and metrics in collaboration with business data owners and stewards.
  • Conduct data profiling anomaly detection and root cause analysis to identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • Implement automated monitoring validation and alerting within data pipelines and reporting environments.
  • Manage and utilize technical metadata and lineage to ensure data traceability from source to consumption.
  • Partner with data engineering teams to embed DQ controls and validation logic within AWS data workflows (e.g. S3 Glue Redshift Lambda).
  • Leverage data governance and cataloging tools such as Collibra (or similar platforms) to manage rules workflows and issue tracking.
  • Develop data quality dashboards and scorecards to measure KPIs and communicate progress.
  • Engage with stakeholders across the business to promote data ownership and accountability.
  • Technical and Industry Experience:
    • Independent DQ Developer with over 8 years of experience in developing and delivering integration projects in an agile or waterfall-based project environment.
    • Proven experience designing and implementing data quality frameworks in large-scale enterprise environments.
    • Strong understanding of data governance metadata management and stewardship processes.
    • Hands-on experience with data quality and cataloging tools (e.g. Collibra AWS DQ).
    • Proficiency in AWS data services (Glue S3 Redshift Lambda CloudWatch) for DQ automation and integration.
    • Skilled in SQL and Python for rule development data profiling and validation.
    • Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
    • Experience working with EPCM or project-based data domains such as engineering procurement or construction project systems.
    • Familiarity with data cataloging metadata management and workflow orchestration tools.
    • Knowledge of ETL/ELT development data modeling and data warehouse design.
    • Understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks related to data management.
    • Exposure to Agile or DevOps delivery for continuous data quality improvement.
