We are looking for an Engineering Manager who wants to be part of this journey. This role is about enabling teams to build products that matter fostering technical excellence and helping engineers grow. You will work closely with Product to align priorities ensure healthy delivery and maintain the long-term technical health of systems and teams.
What you will do
Lead and support a cross-functional engineering team ensuring clarity alignment and focus
Partner with the Product Manager to prioritize work plan increments and balance delivery speed with long-term system health
Ensure high standards in software design architecture developer experience testing security and operational reliability
Establish and track meaningful engineering and product metrics that drive continuous improvement
Coach and mentor engineers support career growth and foster a culture of learning ownership and collaboration
Promote modern engineering practices including CI/CD observability and secure coding
Collaborate with stakeholders across Security Architecture Compliance Data and Design to deliver safe and high-quality products in a regulated environment
Help evolve how we work: ways of working technical patterns and team processes
What we are looking for
Were looking for someone with a solid background in software engineering who has also taken on leadership responsibilities such as serving as an Engineering Manager or Tech Lead
Solid understanding of modern engineering practices and system architecture
Experience working in product-oriented teams with iterative development and frequent releases in a highly regulated sector
Ability to build strong partnerships with Product Managers and cross-functional stakeholders and raise the bar for ways for working within the team and department
Comfortable using data and metrics to run experiments guide decisions and measure outcomes
Passion for coaching developing people and fostering a supportive team environment and a dynamic Engineering Culture in the department
Experience in our technologies: TypeScript React AWS (including CDK and CloudFormation)
You lead with clarity calmness empathy and accountability
Experience or understanding of IT governance frameworks the agile manifesto and regulatory standards such as DORA or GDPR is considered a bonus
