A renowned Outstanding 1118 mixed secondary school in Surrey is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Music ECT to join their successful Creative Arts Department starting January 2026.

About the School

About the Music Department

The Music Department is a lively and ambitious team offering a broad curriculum including performance composition theory and music technology. The school boasts modern recording studios rehearsal spaces and a wide range of extracurricular ensembles such as choir orchestra jazz band and contemporary groups. Students regularly participate in concerts competitions and local arts events.

The Role

Teach Music across KS3KS4.
Support students in peripatetic lessons ensembles and performances.
Contribute to concerts productions and music enrichment activities.

Requirements

PGCE (Music) with QTS by January 2026.
Strong practical skills in one or more instruments.
Enthusiasm for both classroom teaching and wider school music-making.
