Role Overview
As the EYFS Teacher you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging play-based lessons for Nursery and Reception pupils.
- Support childrens social emotional and academic development in line with the EYFS framework.
- Create a positive inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
- Observe assess and monitor pupil progress providing feedback to parents and carers.
- Work closely with colleagues to develop the Early Years curriculum and share best practice.
- Embed the schools Catholic ethos and values throughout classroom activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in EYFS ideally in a faith-based or Catholic school.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum assessment and child development.
- Excellent communication organisational and classroom management skills.
- A caring patient and creative approach to teaching young children.
- Ability to work collaboratively and support the schools ethos and values.
