Role: EYFS Teaching Assistant
Contract: Full-time long-term

A friendly and well-resourced primary school in North London is seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to support children in Nursery and Reception. The school has a strong focus on early development inclusion and child wellbeing.
You will support the class teacher in delivering engaging play-based learning activities aligned with the EYFS framework. You will also provide one-to-one support to pupils who require additional help with communication behaviour or early learning skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Support learning through play and structured activities
Assist with phonics early reading and number work
Support personal care routines and wellbeing
Observe and record pupil progress
Create a safe stimulating and nurturing environment
Requirements:
EYFS experience essential
Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification desirable
Knowledge of the EYFS framework
Warm patient and nurturing approach
