The Opportunity & School Profile
This Outstanding academy seeks a proactive technician to cover a period of maternity leave ensuring the smooth and safe running of the Science curriculum across all three disciplines. Experience with secondary school equipment is essential.
Core Responsibilities & Scope
- Preparation: Preparing and setting up apparatus equipment and materials for complex practical lessons particularly at GCSE level.
- Maintenance: Routine checking calibration and cleaning of science equipment and maintaining stock levels.
- H&S: Assisting with the safe storage handling and disposal of hazardous materials ensuring compliance with CLEAPSS guidelines.
Compensation & Benefits
- Contract: Full-Time Fixed-Term (Maternity Cover).
