Job Summary
Job Summary Data Center Engineer
- Oversee daily operations maintenance and support of data center infrastructure (servers storage networking power).
- Install configure and troubleshoot hardware and network equipment.
- Monitor system performance and environmental conditions to ensure efficient data center operation.
- Provide technical support and incident management resolving hardware and network issues.
- Plan and implement system expansions capacity upgrades and hardware updates.
- Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures.
- Support implementation of physical security measures and access controls in the data center.
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems configurations and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT and other teams to support integration and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
- Requires strong technical knowledge of data center technologies and network protocols.
- Physical ability to lift equipment and availability for on-call or after-hours work.
