Job Summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks aData Engineerwho is passionate about solving problems and improving lives through data. SEL develops mission-critical products that protect control monitor and analyze the power gridensuring the reliability and safety of essential infrastructure worldwide.

As a Data Engineer at SEL you will play a key role in supporting theManufacturing division.In collaboration with internal teams youll develop robust data pipelines and reporting solutions that power expanding manufacturing operations across North America. By leveraging high-volume machine-generated process data youll help inform empower and drive data-driven insights that enhance product quality streamline production processes and protect critical infrastructure.

What Youll Do

Design normalized relational data models and/or dimensional models for OLTP and OLAP systems.
Collaborate with Manufacturing stakeholders to build enterprise reporting models that support operational excellence and product reliability.
Develop and maintain robust data pipelines using cloud technologies to ensure accurate consistent and secure data flow from diverse sources.
Administer and optimize data solutions for performance scalability and resilience.
Build solutions using technologies such as Azure Data Factory Azure SQL Azure Stream Analytics SQL Server SSIS SSAS and Power BI Premium.

Pay Range Information:

The range for this role is $97500 $118900 annually. We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience training knowledge and skills. Our ranges are determined by job responsibility and location.
