Data Center Technician

What success looks like in this role:

• Install configure and maintain servers network equipment and storage systems.
• Perform routine hardware diagnostics troubleshooting and repairs.
• Monitor data center infrastructure for performance temperature and power usage.
• Manage cabling (fiber and copper) and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
• Support remote hands requests and coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
• Maintain inventory of hardware and spare parts.
• Follow and enforce data center security and access protocols.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents as needed.
• On-site role in a secure data center environment
• Travel may be required to support other client data centers.
• May require evening or weekend work for maintenance windows or emergencies.
• Perform ancillary data center tasks such as managing user access to supported data centers creating tickets for inbound/outbound shipments etc.
• Participate in on-call rotation

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Associate degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3-4 years of experience in a data center or IT support role.
• Familiarity with server hardware networking equipment and structured cabling.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

This role may require access to export-controlled commodities and technology. Therefore to conform to U.S. export control regulations applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
