Client is seeking to hire a mid-level Trademark Attorney to join our highly skilled and growing Intellectual Property Team in any of our California offices with a preference for our Southern California locations. Eligible candidates will have at least 3 6 years of significant experience in trademark prosecution and enforcement. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience drafting articulate and persuasive responses to USPTO Office Actions and handling trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings before the TTAB. Experience with enforcement matters including demand letters takedowns and similar actions is also highly desirable.
While experience in trademark counseling and portfolio management is beneficial our primary need is for an attorney who can efficiently manage and execute substantive prosecution and enforcement work. Experience with IP-related litigation matters is a plus though the primary focus will remain trademarks. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong written advocacy skills good responsiveness and the ability to work seamlessly with highly competent paralegals and attorneys in a collaborative fast-paced environment. This position requires California State Bar admission. USPTO Bar admission is preferred but not mandatory. Compensation: Typical salary range is from $175000 to $230000 base depending on addition this role is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation bringing the possible total compensation range to $210000-$275000 annually.
