Eligibility fields of study and what it covers
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a citizen or permanent resident of South Africa
- Currently enrolled or accepted at a recognized tertiary institution
- Demonstrated academic achievement (minimum average of 60%)
- Proven financial need
- Active involvement in community or extracurricular activities
Fields of Study
Applications are invited from students pursuing qualifications in the following areas:
- Fleet Management
- Transport Management
- Diesel Mechanics
- Electrical Engineering (Light current)
What the Bursary Covers
- Full or partial tuition fees
- Prescribed textbooks and study materials
- Accommodation and living allowance (where applicable)
Application requirements and deadline
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit:
- A completed bursary application form
- Certified copies of academic transcripts and ID
- Proof of household income
- A motivational letter (maximum 500 words) explaining career goals and how the bursary will make a difference
Application Deadline
All applications must be submitted by 30 November 2025. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
