Our client is searching for a Group CFO to lead consolidate and transform the financial management of their holding company and subsidiaries.

Candidates who do not possess significant experience in a multi-entity structure or at the group level - should not apply. Likewise candidates who have not participated in very large-scale financial transformation and consolidation efforts will find it difficult to compete.
Fluency in Vietnamese is required. Fluency or strong professional working fluency in English is also required.
Overseas candidates are welcome as long as they meet the above requirements and possess a solid understanding of Vietnamese working culture at the highest levels in the hierarchy.
This role will require relocation to Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Group Financial Management
- Design and implement the group finance and reporting framework including policies consolidation process and reporting systems.
- Develop and manage group-wide budgets forecasting and performance assessments to support decision-making.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to the Group CEO BOM and stakeholders.
Capital Management & Treasury
- Design and implement the group capital allocation framework aligning investment and financing decisions with ROI targets.
- Establish internal lending policy and inter-company interest rates based on SBV benchmark.
- Manage cash pooling and liquidity platform for all subsidiaries to optimize working capital.
- Supervise group guarantee policy bank facilities and hedging strategies for project exposure.
Investor Relations & Corporate Finance
- Lead investor readiness roadmap - valuation capital structure optimization rating agency engagement.
- Prepare for strategic FDI or IPO by ensuring IFRS conversion and governance standards.
- Evaluate strategic investments and oversee post-investment performance tracking.
Governance Compliance & Audit
- Drive financial consolidation under IFRS or Vietnam GAAP ensuring transparency across entities.
- Oversee monthly group cashflow P&L and balance sheet reporting via ERP and BI dashboards.
- Ensure all subsidiaries comply with financial control standards closing calendar and reporting KPIs.
- Ensure financial governance standards in preparation for IPO or external capital raising.
Leadership & Organization Development
- Strengthen collaboration and accountability across subsidiary finance teams.
- Oversee the establishment and administration of ESOP and incentive structures.
- Develop a culture of financial discipline transparency and business partnership throughout the group.
Digital Transformation
- Champion ERP integration across all companies. Work closely with subsidiaries and ERP solutions provider to engineer clear expectations and guidelines for financial reporting and data collection goals specialized to each company.
- Build a group data warehouse & power BI dashboard for real-time cash project and margin visibility.
- Introduce automation in consolidation budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure data integrity and cybersecurity governance for financial systems.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 10 - 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience including senior roles in a group or multi-entity structure.
- Proven track record in financial consolidation treasury governance and strategic planning - with the ability to cite specific examples when requested.
- Experience with large-scale financial transformation projects.
- Experience with IPO readiness and PE is a major plus.
- High integrity professionalism and sound judgment. Both direct and indirect reference checks will be conducted.
- Fluency in Vietnamese is required. Fluency or strong professional working fluency in English is also required.
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field is required. Masters degree preferred.
- CPA ACCA CFA certifications are a plus.
